Concept
A palace majlis and private wing where Najdi heritage is translated into contemporary stone, shadow and gold-warm light.
Commissioned for a royal family estate, Dar Al Hilal honours the proportions of Najdi architecture — deep thresholds, triangular apertures, courtyards of shade — executed in limestone, bronze and hand-troweled plaster. Ornament is replaced by shadow; grandeur is carried by silence and scale.
